Jasmyn Wright (@iamjasmynwright) is the founder of the Push Through Organization and a former elementary school teacher. She began her teaching career at a Title I school in Memphis, TN, as a member of Teach for America. More recently, she taught at a charter school in Wilmington, DE, and was chosen to be a Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellow.

Nell K. Duke (@nellkduke) is an award-winning and widely published professor of literacy, language, and culture at the University of Michigan. She is the recipient of the 2018 William S. Gray Citation of Merit, and Education Week named her one of the most influential education scholars in the United States. Her work focuses on early literacy development, particularly among children living in poverty, and her areas of expertise include comprehension development and instruction in early schooling.

Allister Chang (@AllisterChang) is an ILA 30 Under 30 honoree and founder of Civic Suds, an organization that installs public access computers to facilitate digital literacy training inside coin laundries. He is a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow, a Voqal Fellow, and an affiliate at Harvard University’s Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society. He also served as executive director of Libraries Without Borders from 2014 to 2019.

Stephen G. Peters (@stephengpeters) is superintendent of Laurens County School District 55 in Laurens, SC. He has worked in public education for nearly 40 years and will serve as president of the ILA Board of Directors for the 2020–2021 term.
