- Investigative journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones will moderate a Current Events Panel titled "Disrupting a Destructive Cycle: How Literacy Drives Social Change Both in and out of the Classroom." This panel will address provocative and complex social issues such as racially motivated violence and cultural intolerance.
- ILA Lunches: This year, we're shaking up our lunch events and bringing you three new, fresh formats: ILA Meet & Eat Networking Lunch, where you'll dine and mingle with other conference attendees; ILA Sparks Lunch, where you'll hear short, power-packed talks from inspiring speakers; and ILA Power Hour Lunch, where interactive activities will help you step out of your comfort zone.
