The Children's Literature Intensive reimagines our popular Children's Literature Day event as a power-packed half day of programming. Hear from a diverse mix of writers you know and ones you should know if you don't already.

Registration includes the ILA 2020 Children's and Young Adults' Book Awards Breakfast, keynote speakers, author panels, and other programs that feature children's literature and its critical role in literacy instruction. Sessions are led by educators who collaborate with the authors themselves to design fast-paced, informative, and truly interactive presentations that are anything but static.

This unique half-day event is designed for literacy educators, librarians, and children's literature enthusiasts alike.

Space is limited; early registration is recommended.

Please note: The Children's Literature Intensive requires separate paid registration and is not included with Institute Day, Core Conference, or the Research Intensive. Presenters, times, and topics are subject to change.
