Designing PBL Projects to Increase Student Literacy

What's Inside

This article serves as an overview that explains what project-based learning actually is, and how traditional projects can be redesigned to increase student engagement and achievement. In addition, the article gives a compelling rationale and research to support implementation. A sample PBL project is illustrated to show the intentional design process so that teachers can begin designing their own PBL projects in their classrooms.
