Lara Deloza is a seasoned storyteller with more than 20 years of editorial and communications experience. In her role at ILA, she creates and implements successful branding, content marketing, and communications strategies across multiple platforms. She's been a member of the team since 2010.
With a background in journalism, academic publishing, children's literature, and teaching, Lara has built a unique skill set that allows her to serve the organization in a variety of ways. This includes developing innovative conference programming and key projects such as ILA's biennial 30 Under 30 list and award-winning What's Hot in Literacy Report reboot. She's also a driving force behind ILA's Children's Rights to Read initiative.
