What's new

  • The Core Conference is now on Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22.
  • On Monday, July 23, we'll host our first-ever Children's Literature Day at ILA 2018! This day of dedicated programming will include four levels of Author Meetups and Putting Books to Work workshops (Early Reader, Middle Grade, Early Young Adult, and Older Young Adult) as well as many more sessions and events centered on children's literature.
  • At ILA 2018, the Exhibit Hall will be open for a special preview on Friday, July 20, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This offers you the chance to check out innovative new products and services outside of the Core Conference (Saturday and Sunday). Take advantage of this opportunity right after you attend Institute Day or pick up your registration materials.
  • For the most up-to-date conference information, follow @ILAToday and #ILA18 on social media.
  • The theme of ILA 2018 is Be a Changemaker—someone who desires and strives for change in literacy education. The conference will help you unleash your inner changemaker, connect you with other changemakers, and ensure you leave feeling empowered to transform the quality of instruction in your school, district, or community.
