Kenneth Kunz

Kenneth Kunz

Kenneth Kunz began his career as an elementary school teacher in New Jersey public schools. In 2007, he received recognition as an outstanding teacher through the New Jersey Governor's Teacher Recognition Program. Kenneth received the Edward Fry Endowed Fellowship in Literacy at Rutgers University in 2014 as a result of his work with focusing on the preparation of future teachers of reading.

Kenneth has served as an assistant professor of literacy education at Bloomfield College and a literacy coach for the Rutgers Center for Literacy Development and Children's Literacy Initiative.

Kenneth served as president of the New Jersey Literacy Association and has supervised instructional programs as an administrator in the Wall Township Public Schools and Middlesex School District, where he led as a K–12 supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction. He is currently an assistant professor of literacy at Monmouth University.
